Local plans with kids your children's age

How does My City work for making plans with other families near me?

Updated 26/10/2026

What My City is

My City is the Woltica circle for everyday life: finding families who live near you and have children of similar ages, so you can arrange relaxed plans such as an afternoon at the park or meeting up for an after-school snack.

How nearby families are found

The website uses the location you set in your profile, together with a search radius you choose, to show you other families in your neighbourhood or area. That way you can find the families closest to you without needing to share a school or organisation.

How credits work in My City

To start a conversation with a family you don't already share a Space with (for example the same school or PTA), Woltica uses credits: each new conversation in My City uses 1 credit from your balance. If your family and theirs belong to the same Space, the chat is free. You get 3 credits when you complete your profile and the affinity questionnaire, and you can earn more by inviting other families with your code: when the invited family confirms their email address, you both get 2 credits (for you, up to 10 families a month). If the family you message doesn't reply within 72 hours, the credit is refunded. Credit packs will also be available to buy very soon.

Built on trust, not anonymity

Unlike a general social network, in My City you always talk to real family profiles, within the same circle of trust as the rest of Woltica. The aim isn't to collect contacts but to find the families near you that you'll genuinely want to meet up with again.
